Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. The producer was also and costume/set designer writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. Although she usually led from within the group of actors, at the end of her time, she made her debut as a director (and Lighting Designer) for SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to her acting work, she's also involved in several game programs. She was raised with her two brothers and sisters in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's poetess wife Marylee Post. She attended Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. She briefly studied at Pomona College. In a private note, Post was previously was married with Stephen Knox. She has been married since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with who she has two daughters. Post is an excellent actress, a wonderful wife and mom and she is a role model to many Hollywood famous people.
